Our objective in this new real estate environment is to lead the growing trend of companies and agents redirecting their marketing and advertising dollars to better serve our buyers and sellers at the local level and not on national branding campaigns for a national franchisor.

Jay Treadwell was born in Atlanta, GA.  I have lived in Atlanta, Decatur, Huntsville, but my formative years were spent in Eastman, GA.  After graduating from Dodge County High School in 1982, ,  I returned to Atlanta to attend Georgia Tech.
In 2004, I was married to Jennifer Fordham of Peachtree City & Statesboro, GA.  We are the proud parents of Audrey (2010) &  Austin (2006), Breanna (1993), & Brittney (1988). Brittney made us grandparents of Canaan (Dec. 2007) & Sadie (2010).
Jen & I have lived in Smyrna since our marriage. We bought a bank owned foreclosure in 2004 and have been working on it ever since…a labor of  love, most of the time.

I love my community. My church, Cumberland Community Church is completely committed to this area and “does church outside the walls” in the Smyrna area quarterly.  I am the President Elect of the Rotary Club of Smyrna. Feel free to join me. Lunch is on me. More Info

I sold my first home as a FSBO in 2004, but was not licensed to sell real estate until 2006 just as the market began to decline. I have learned the Real Estate business in the toughest market in 20 years. The education has been priceless.

Since entering the Real Estate Industry full time in 2006,  I have continuously sought to educate myself so that I might better serve my community.  After having successfully completed several short sales, I became one of the first CDPE’s (Certified Distressed Property Expert) in the Atlanta Market. I have helped numerous people that found themselves in desperate situations to successfully navigate the short sale process and avoid foreclosure. Realizing that the market was perfect for investors, in 2011, I became a member of the first class of CIAS (Certified Investor Agent Specialist) in the Atlanta Market.
